COACHING SCOPE & SAFETY NOTICE
Effective date: September 12, 2026
WHAT NEXT PLAY IS
Next Play Sports provides mental-performance education and coaching tools that help members build self-awareness, identify patterns, practice useful skills, create intentional routines, and make their next best decision.
The Next Play Performance Guide™ provides personalized, AI-powered educational guidance grounded in Next Play Sports’ coaching language, curriculum, exercises, and development system—the same framework used by our coaches in live one-on-one sessions. It is available on demand, but it is software rather than a live human coach.
WHAT NEXT PLAY IS NOT
Next Play is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, mental-health treatment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, or a substitute for a licensed healthcare professional. We do not diagnose or treat anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, substance-use disorders, or any other medical or mental-health condition.
Assessments, scores, journal summaries, and recommendations are developmental tools. They are not medical evaluations, guarantees, fixed labels, or predictions of performance.
USING PERSONALIZED GUIDANCE RESPONSIBLY
AI-generated guidance may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a member’s circumstances. Use your judgment. Do not rely on the Next Play Performance Guide™ for medical, safety-critical, legal, financial, employment, eligibility, or disciplinary decisions.
If guidance feels inconsistent with your wellbeing, values, professional advice, or immediate circumstances, stop and seek appropriate assistance.
PRIVACY AND HUMAN REVIEW
Journal entries are not messages to a coach and are not monitored continuously. Your portal indicates whether an entry remains private, is included in an automated summary, or is intentionally shared with an authorized Next Play coach. Review our Privacy Policy for details about AI processing, providers, retention, and deletion.
EMERGENCIES AND ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
Next Play is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
If you are experiencing persistent emotional distress, thoughts of self-harm, a mental-health crisis, or symptoms that interfere with daily life, contact a licensed mental-health professional or another qualified healthcare provider.
