NEXT PLAY SPORTS PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: September 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Next Play Sports, LLC (“Next Play,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, protects, retains, and deletes information associated with our website, member portal, assessments, journaling tools, reports, subscriptions, and Next Play Performance Guide™.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect account information such as name, email, login identifiers, age or age range, and account status; purchase and subscription information; assessment responses, scores, performance context, goals, routines, habits, check-ins, journal entries, reflections, and progress records; messages, sharing choices, and support requests; device, browser, IP-address, cookie, usage, security, and diagnostic information; and AI interaction data, including prompts, submitted entries, generated guidance, summaries, recommended resources, and feedback. Payment-card details are processed by Stripe and are not ordinarily stored directly by Next Play. We do not intentionally ask for medical records, diagnoses, treatment information, or emergency disclosures. Avoid including unnecessary medical or highly sensitive third-party information in journal entries.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to create and secure accounts; deliver purchases, subscriptions, assessments, journals, reports, and member resources; personalize the Next Play Performance Guide™; generate weekly and monthly summaries; track member-selected development goals; process payments and manage subscriptions; provide support and communications; detect fraud and technical problems; maintain and improve the Services using appropriately limited data; and meet legal, accounting, and compliance obligations. We do not use private journal content for advertising.
3. AI-POWERED PROCESSING
The Next Play Performance Guide™ uses artificial intelligence to analyze member-authorized information and generate personalized educational guidance. The system is grounded in Next Play Sports’ coaching language, curriculum, exercises, and development framework, but responses are generated by software and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Journal entries and other private content are processed for automated summaries and personalized guidance only when the member chooses to include that content. Members may change this choice in privacy and sharing settings. We do not permit our AI provider to use private member content to train broadly available models.
4. WHEN WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the Services, including website hosting, cloud storage, forms, email, payment processing, analytics, security, and AI providers. Principal providers include Wix, Stripe, Google, Typeform, and OpenAI. Providers may process information only for authorized purposes under applicable terms. We may also disclose information when required by law; to protect rights, safety, and security; in connection with a corporate transaction; or with member direction or consent. We do not sell personal information or private journal entries, and we do not share private journal entries for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.
5. COACH ACCESS AND SHARING CONTROLS
Private entries are not automatically treated as messages to a coach and are not monitored continuously. The member portal shows whether an entry is private to the member and automated system, included in automated summaries, or shared with Coach Rob Rorke or another authorized Next Play coach. The selected sharing status is stored with each entry. Limited administrative access may be used for security or support.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the longitudinal development record, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Account, profile, journal, assessment, AI prompt, and output data are retained while an account is active and for up to 30 days after a verified deletion request, unless the member deletes specific content sooner or longer retention is legally required. Payment and accounting records are retained for seven years or longer if required. Security and technical logs are retained up to 12 months unless needed longer for an investigation. Backups may retain deleted information up to 90 days through the ordinary backup cycle.
7. MEMBER CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, members may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information; change journal-sharing permissions; withdraw optional consent; opt out of marketing; or close an account. Submit requests to rob@nextplaynow.com. Identity verification may be required. Subscription cancellation does not automatically delete an account or development record.
8. SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including least-privilege access, administrator multifactor authentication, encryption in transit, controlled vendor access, incident-response procedures, and access and retention reviews. No system is completely secure.
9. DATA INCIDENTS
If a qualifying privacy or security incident occurs, we will investigate and provide notices required by applicable federal and state law.
10. CHILDREN AND MINORS
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Members ages 13–17 require verified parent or legal-guardian consent as described in our Terms. A parent or guardian may contact rob@nextplaynow.com regarding a minor’s information, subject to identity and authority verification.
11. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
We and our providers may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for login, security, preferences, analytics, and service operation. The site provides consent controls required by applicable law.
12. INTERNATIONAL AND STATE-SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where providers operate. When required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards. Contact rob@nextplaynow.com regarding applicable privacy rights.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the effective date and provide additional notice or request renewed consent when a material change affects sensitive information.
